Hicks Lake, which borders on Wanchers Park, is amazing. Easy to walk forest trails, a boat launch, and the ability to sit completely in the shade or out in the sun. There’s also swimming or waiting in the lake. And some picnic tables. Most of the time, there aren’t a lot of people here.

Hicks Lake is becoming better than it used to. Clean fishing area. Less riff raff. Great people fishing with you. Boaters are respectful as well. Only gave 4 stars is that the restroom needs...
