We've been here nearly two years and just found out about this nearby trail. Our family likes it because it is SHADY and the trail itself has some interesting flora, not to mention huge sugar pinecones throughout. Our Yorkie pup loves it too. We entered the trail at the little sign to the right of the parking lot, and followed it until we were at the top of the hill, where it emptied out onto a paved road that led back to the parking area. As most have said the trail is well marked going to the right with paper signs. It’s not until you get to the viewpoint that a well made “main trail “ sign appears. As you continue following the loop trail from the viewpoint it gets really confusing where the “correct” trail is. Using the all trails app you do get back to where you need to go. If correct, the trail ends at the in park road heading back down to the parking area. The trail is nice but the way...
