ichetucknee springs — Attraction in Lake City

I wish I could post about the springs I didnt get to see rather than my horrible experience. Dont bring your dog here. Posting this as a courtesy to people because their website has apparently very outdated information on this. They will turn you away. Dogs are NOT allowed. This is Head springs. It is located at the north entrance of the Ichetucknee park. A very nice spring to spend the day. The park offers a nice area with tables and grill. The parking is near. The water is nice. Blue and green. With goggles you can see many fishes and turtles. For small kids who doesn't swim yet. This is not the best place. But for sure the family...

So much fun! Bring a set of goggles, fins, and snorkel. If you don't have any the store at the campground outside the gate has good quality equipment and at a very reasonable price. I expected to pay top dollar but was surprised at price and quality. Good food truck. Grills available and trash cans. $6 for the car load. That's pretty good for the priceless...
