Normally I find springs cold, but the water was the perfect temperature. Everything was nice and clean. A lot of people thought at the end that they had to wait in the bus line to return their tubes and walk back, but no. No, if you are walking back just go around and drop off the tubes by the fence and walk back. That bus line takes forever, but the walk back was 15 or 20 mins or so. A 15 min walk for a 2 hour float or so is pretty good! Only walk back if you have waterhsoes on. Don't go in a bad car that can't idle. My engine failed 3 times in line because the wait to drive into the springs was 1 hr of idling. So definitely enter the springs earlier than you think you need to. It was...
Read moreQuick afternoon visit here and to the north end not the more populated south entrance. Gorgeous spring water, two separate swimming holes one that leads to the actual spring run. Nice clean facilities and two hiking paths, one out n back short one (great for kids) the other a maybe 2 mile loop with several access points to the water for some great picture points.
