The Stable Pizzeria — Attraction in Lake Elmo

We have been here 5x now since they opened up! We think it's good pizza 🍕 but 2 issues we see! #1 it's a little spendy for the slices! Every time we get a slice they're small ? I've seen other people say the slices are huge ? I'm not seeing that! When we get slices there is like 1 huge slice in each pizza laying there but we always get a little slice! Now when we order a whole pizza I think it would probably be worth it if there was actually some toppings on it that we paid for! Tonight we placed an online order for approximately $46.00 for an 18 inch cheese and an 18 inch sausage and mushroom! I'm not writing this to knock you, like I said we think the pizza is good, but you definitely need to be a little more generous with the toppings! Our whole 18 inch pizza probably had like 10 pieces of sausage on the entire pizza and there wasn't much More for mushrooms! I ran my own business for over 20 years and you definitely want to make the customers happy! I've noticed several other people feel the same way that y'all need to put the toppings on that we are all paying...

Do NOT pre-order with a set PU time.

In lobby while waiting for the order - I ordered around 2pm to PU at 6pm. People who ordered at 5:45PM got their order before we did. They got their order around 6:05pm. We did not get ours until around 6:38PM. Pizza was good. asked for "well done" and was not done that way - but in the first week open I figure quick to fill orders took priority. Had 2 orders of wings also. Good seasoning - but way too much of it. We tossed them as it was more salt than we could eat and my kids got me a t-shirt "Never too much salt!" in the past. I called and ordered their 18” basic cheese pie. I was literally 8 minutes away. When I got there the pizza was already sitting in the box in the back. First comment : those heavy cardboard boxes, when kept closed will steam a pizza and make it soggy. They used to put little pop out holes to release the steam but their box didn’t have them. Second comment: the pizza was good, not great and not crispy. I know it takes longer than 8 minutes to construct and bake pizza and I know what a fresh out of the oven pizza should look, feel and taste like.
