Downside is it's very loud from talking and there are no sound baffles so it's not the place to go and visit or conduct business unless it's off peak times. There's an attached liquor store but the bar and dining patrons park in front of it so we rarely ever use it. 2022 Always good food. PBR on tap. Wife and I get what we pay for at less than fast food and less expensive with a local down home environment. Seems real local, yet open to others. We go often and were there again yesterday 10/23/21. I had the new monthly special, Pastrami on rye with fries. Very good and lots of meat. My wife had chicken fingers with Texas toast, a variation from her usual fried chicken salad. I am a visitor to the area and want to be clear that this is a home run bar for locals. If you want to experience a state fair style atmosphere where you order at the bar and food through a window, this is the place for you. The atmosphere is highly intoxicated, which I enjoy, but not welcoming or at least no opportunities to be welcoming. The seats are from the 1960s and if you have any age on you, they're not comfortable. The opportunity to mingle or be social with people doesn't exist because of the way the restaurant is set up. Everyone crowds into the bar area and there's no room for anyone else so you have to sit out at the tables. When at a table you're isolated and away from the bar crowd. And as I mentioned, do you have to go up to the bar to order and you have to go to a window to order your food. All fine if that's what you're looking for. I used to go to this place for burgers only. Something’s wrong last 5 times raw inside hamburgers . They should learn to cook the burgers as that’s what they are known for if you go for food. 5 times trying is just not right. Had to take it home and cook it. Burgers should be done due to food illnesses from the fat.in the burger. It’s not steak that you could have rare. Again this was raw not cooked inside at all. Hope they figure this out. Our whole family said it was awful and they couldn’t believe this was the place that used to have best perfect cooked not burned perfectly cooked juicy not dry burgers ever. How can they go from that to this? We won’t go back. I can’t afford to toss away food and don’t want to cook my own when it was paid to have it done. Order in to eat or called to take out....
