Yes in the summer the playground equipment will be hot. It's usually over 100 degrees in the summer what the heck would you expect? Use ur brains when you choose a time to come. And yes, the splash pad is wet. It's going to be wet. So if you're allowing your kids to run on the splash pad when it is wet. They might slip. Those things happen when water is involved. On the government park website it says they close at 9 PM, but I have been kicked out as early as 6 PM. During the Palisade fires, the lady kicked me out, saying the fires were endangering the environment, which I could not believe. Other times they have forced me to leave around 7 or 8 PM because they need to close up other parks, yet all the other local parks do not have fences and their lights go off at 9 PM.
