M & G Burger — Restaurant in Lake Los Angeles

I’m pretty sure they would remember me. I was there with my husband and my two babies. We ordered two different plates. My husbands plate was really good but mine tasted cold and off. This is really upsetting because I do come to this restaurant all the time and this one experience ruined the whole thing for me. I asked for a refund for my food after telling the worker the beans tasted burnt and the whole plate was cold. She went to the back with my plate and said they would warm it up I immediately and calmly asked for a refund on only my plate as I did not want the same plate back. 2 of the workers refused to give me my money back telling me they were too stressed and busy to do so. On top of it they both got a mean attitude with me and my family after we tried to explain to them our reason for wanting the money back on just my plate. Not even the whole order. And I ended up leaving with nothing but feeling upset and cheated out of my money as I did not eat or get...

I've lived out here for 28 years. The food has always been terrible. All these years. Once a year I will go back and give them another chance but it's always awful. Once they lied to me and said there wasn't meat in their beans. I found many pieces of pork. As of 3 days ago, (10/26/23) *Shrimp is dry and flavorless, no sauces provided after asking for them, fries were extremely dry (inedible), beans were under cooked and crunchy in the burrito, the wet sauce didn't taste good (although the only thing edible), little cheese on the nachos and the cheese tasted gross. Poor service. Chef seemed to have a crush on server giving my boyfriend dirty looks, and the server is impatient. Train employees better. Consumers should GO TO LOS CHILES!!! FOOD IS ALWAYS GREAT. HAS BEEN FOR 15 YEARS. THIS PLACE SUCKS. Always has....

They have a great club sandwich, I asked them to toast it extra and they actually did, I've had various burgers and they're all good, I love the Colossal Burger which has pastrami that is more like a ton of bacon. They have a bar there! You can have a cocktail at a hamburger joint, I haven't seen that anywhere else and I've been in every state. It's actually a regular full-service sit-down restaurant with a very nice menu but during the pandemic it's just the best takeout hamburger joint around this Tiny Town, or any in Palmdale and Lancaster that I have found.
