Liberty Park — Attraction in Lake Mary

I’ve been coming to liberty Park for almost 6 years.. Mainly because I’m handicap and I have an old dog, which means we both need the exercise. At one time there was picnic tables spaced throughout the area that allowed me to walk a certain amount then sit down and rest. Earlier this year I guess the park department decided to take the picnic table that was by the restrooms out. Sadly that was one of my resting spots and I’m sure I’m not the only one that used it because at least several times a week when I would walk there and be somebody sitting there resting or having a picnic at that particular spot. I guess that the park department doesn’t like or want people like myself to use the park or at least not be able to sit down and rest when they have health issues. I wonder if this would be the same case if they were the ones that had problems walking or had other health issues that they needed to sit down about every block or so. I highly doubt it. Awesome park for picnicking! Really nice big pavilions and more than enough picnic tables. The ladies bathroom was actually nice and clean, unlike most parks. The nature trail was somewhat neglected. We were unable to complete it straight through so we went in the beginning as far as we could go before turning back and starting at the end. We really liked the open fields, little bridges, and the abundance of wildlife and lush foliage. Excellent place to reconnect with nature clear your mind and enjoy the fresh air. Huge parking lots would make for good parties and gatherings etc.. Definitely a nice...

Nice park good place to walk and mediate but the only thing I don't like is owners WHO have pets mainly dogs that let their dogs roam and poop and never pick up after their pets. This place is nice but dislike lazy pet owners who can't clean up after their own pets. That just let me know that these owners don't deserve to have dogs for pets if they are that lazy in helping the city keep its parks clean...
