A simple park with a lake. We only experienced a portion due to time constraints, I believe our group would need 4 hours to take it all in. The swinging bridge was fun. Just walking around the banks and admiring the flora was enjoyable. Other visitors were smiling and friendly. I'd like to return early in the morning with binoculars for birdwatching and sit on the dock with a cup of coffee. Parking appeared adequate on a Saturday evening. We did not locate any bathroom facilities near the area we explored. Next time, I will scope those out.

We did a paddle boat ride, and it only cost $10 per hour. They provided life jackets for adults and children. It was beautiful and would recommend for families. A huge bathroom area and pavilions. Also had a small bridge area and more. We’re from Mississippi and are just visiting my husband while he’s working in Illinois and I found this to be a very fun and affordable activity that we made a full day out of! Really enjoyed it and look forward to going back in the future hopefully!

During this covid-19 crisis it's nice to get away and enjoy the beauty of a local park. There were numerous people there however it was obvious that the social distancing was definitely considered. A lot of people fishing and there was a good distance between everyone. People walking the park stay quite a distance behind the other folks. Great day just to walk around get some fresh air and be part of nature. If you're in the area please stop by and enjoy this.

Many of the original roads are blocked off and are reserved for foot traffic. This is perfect during Covid when everyone is trying to get outside as much as possible. Social distancing is very easy here. The botanical garden, while small, is varied and includes a koi pond and some interesting sculptures. The only thing missing here is an off leash dog area.

What a beautiful fall way to get some fresh air and a gentle stroll. Lots of wildlife. Small game animals and plenty for bird watchers. Blacktop path is 1.5 miles out for a total of a 3 mile full walk. Take the time and enjoy walking, running or biking this wooded area. Even the covered bridge has a walking and driving area.

After driving past wheat and windmills for 2 hours, we stopped at the first sign that mentioned "Woods." It delivers on that front. There are roads, paved paths, and dirt paths through the forest with interesting sights along the way. I deducted 1 star for shared roadways, but otherwise it's great.
