Food and drinks are both hit and miss along with the service. While the price is acceptable as of late it seems the food and drink are off. I always order a frozen margarita before my meal which they prepare from a machine that has only frozen lime margaritas made to which they add flavored mix. They have come out extremely thick and syrupy at the bottom leaving only to send them back asking for new. Free chips and salsa are always great but sometimes overcooked here. This last visit my husband got a burrito fajita with ala carte rice and beans which was great and taste but only lukewarm which he ate being a hungry man. I on the other hand ordered for a $10.99 the vegetarian fajitas which came with rice, beans, lettuce, guacamole and, sour cream and was only able to eat the latter because the fajita vegetables were too greasy to consume. The waitress did not come by after our food was delivered to check on our meal so I was not able to let her know about my vegetables until she came to bring our check. I asked for the manager and she let me know he was busy but would be by when he was done but if I prefer I could go to the checkout counter to speak with him. After speaking with him he took care of the meal charge but only after I let him know that she tried to charge me $7.99 for the small amount of beans, rice, lettuce, guacamole and, sour cream that I was actually able to eat. The first issue we've had here but we do enjoy the food when it is the way it should be as well as the drinks the atmosphere is light and definitely...
Read moreI was hit with a serious craving for Mexican on a busy weekend, but the thought of going out wasn’t appealing. So I decided to try the online ordering from Los Zarapes—and oh boy, the process was smoother than a cool margarita on a hot day! 🍹(From their Facebook page)
I went to pick up my order and, miraculously, everything was hot and ready. Normally, I wouldn’t expect a 20-minute drive to keep my food sizzling, but to my amazement, it arrived as fresh and warm as if it had just stepped out of the kitchen! 🚗🔥
I went all in on the Acapulco Special—a fiesta on a plate! Picture this: juicy steak, tender chicken, and succulent shrimp, all mingling with crisp bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes, lathered in a dreamy cheese dip. And that wasn’t all—it came with a chicken enchilada, rice, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream. Every bite was a burst of perfectly seasoned, delicious flavors that had my taste buds dancing with joy! 😋💃
The take-out was packaged so well it felt like unwrapping a small present from family. Speaking of family, Los Zarapes is truly a local treasure run by a fantastic family with several extended family locations around the area. It’s always a treat when their food graces our table at home! 🙌
I’m already planning my next order—this spot definitely knows how to bring the fiesta home!

Read moreI never review things but I felt compelled to write a review for this lucky little find. Was on the way to Nashville and stopped in for a quick bite. I was a bit apprehensive when I saw the exterior but I can't resist tacos and margaritas so we proceeded. We were greeted immediately, sat, and asked what we would like to drink by the same person. Within 1-2 minutes we had our drinks, chips, salsa, and (of course) cheese dip. The waiter was very prompt and took our orders without difficulty. I wanted peppers instead of mushrooms in my dish, so I was nervous it wasn't going to come out correct, as it often doesn't for one reason or another. However, our food came out within 10 minutes, was piping hot, and was correct. It was delicious, a bit salty, but I like it that way. The rest of the service was phenomenal. Price was fantastic for a lunch shrimp dish ($7.50). The place, including the bathroom, was very clean. Only thing left to be desired was the margarita (tasted like cheap margarita mix), but the tequila was strong so I was happy. Overall, very happy with this little find right off...
