The colors in and around this park are beautiful and the paved walkway makes it so much easier to explore from my wheelchair! I started at the East parking lot and worked my way over to the West. There were a few places where I was fighting the side-to-side slope but really didn’t have much difficulty dealing with the terrain. It was a fairly gentle but continuous climb going West, but most of the return trip was an easy roll.

What a great park! You might be underwhelmed at first by the smallish parking lot, but there are miles of trails to walk, run or bike. The grassy trails are very wide and well kept. Lots of trees and shade or wide open fields. I'm sure we only scratched the surface of what this place has to offer. Even has his and her bathrooms in the...
