⭐☆☆☆☆ I had a very disappointing experience at this establishment. From the start, there was a clear lack of communication and professionalism. Cleanliness was below standard, and the environment felt poorly managed overall. One Staff member was not only unhelpful but also came across as rude when approached with concerns. The other member was extremely helpful from start to finish!

What made matters worse was the uncomfortable feeling of being constantly watched on cameras—not for safety, but in a way that felt invasive and distrustful. When I voiced my dissatisfaction, management was dismissive, uncompromising, and downright disrespectful. It’s clear that customer needs are not a priority here.

I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for respectful service and a clean, professional environment.

We arrived late due to circumstances beyond our control, but your team was informed in advance, and your own staff reassured us the party could still proceed smoothly. To claim the face painter stayed “an extra hour” while also saying our guests didn’t arrive on time makes no sense—several children were present and visibly disappointed by the rushed or skipped service. It felt unorganized and dismissive, not accommodating.

As for your claims about the mats, we were not made aware of any damage at the time, nor were we shown any photos. If damage occurred, it would’ve been professional and fair to raise it before sending a demand after the fact. Your mention of unpaid fees and security footage feels like a retaliation tactic rather than a genuine attempt at resolution.

We also take serious issue with your tone around the cameras and “police” comment. Regardless of your intentions, threatening to call law enforcement on families with small children over party timing is excessive and unprofessional. It made several guests uncomfortable and escalated a situation that could have been handled with grace and courtesy.

Rather than accepting responsibility for your staff’s attitude, the rushed services, or lack of proper communication, you’ve chosen to double down and blame the guests. That’s not the mark of a business that values its customers.

We will not be reaching out further. You’ve made it clear how little regard you have for client experience.

It is so challenging to come across clean and professional indoor playgrounds in Chicago! Imagine That World of Play exceeded my expectations! Both of my children have an accumulation of amazing experiences at this establishment. This place has become a safe haven for my children to tap into imaginative play. The amount of skills that they have developed here is mind blowing. Additionally, I had the opportunity to host birthday parties for both of my children, considering that this one of their absolute favorite places. The owner is extremely professional, caters to the needs of their customers and provides an unforgettable experience for kids. I couldn’t have thought of a better way to celebrate my kids’ birthdays, than having their parties here! My children have also participated in various events hosted here and even some classes! Took my son here, and he had the time of his life! This place is perfect for kids!!! bounce houses, soft play, rock climbing, and just a fun, safe space for them to be kids. Everything is clean and well-kept, and I even got to chill while he ran around and burned off all that energy.

I already booked his birthday party here, and the process was smooth and easy no stress at all. On top of that, I got a free membership for my son just for booking, so after his party, he can keep coming back to play!
