I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bacon and Jam and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The Southwest Skillet, in particular, left me in awe with its delectable combination of flavors. From the moment we were seated to the last sip of the phenomenal coffee, everything about this place exceeded my expectations.

Let's start with the star of the show, the Southwest Skillet. This mouthwatering dish showcased the perfect harmony of grilled chicken, black beans, corn, fire-roasted poblano peppers, pico de gallo, and a generous sprinkling of creamy goat cheese. Each ingredient complemented the others beautifully, creating a burst of flavors in every bite. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, the egg was cooked to my request, the black beans were perfectly cooked, and the fire-roasted poblano peppers added a delightful smoky touch. The pico de gallo added a refreshing zest, while the goat cheese added a creamy and tangy element. It was an absolute delight for my taste buds and left me craving more!

Great menu selection, generous portions, and served piping hot! I love their made-from-scratch corned beef hash, Cajun skillet, and biscuits & sausage gravy!!! You'll need to come multiple times before you can settle on a favorite dish. Even then, your top pick is likely to change with each visit, assuming you're willing to try something new! Great ownership/management (Sam & Joe), and superb table service (Maria). Even the hostess (Jaelynn) elevates the experience in a twofold way. First, by her bright welcoming smile that exudes an infectious genuine joy, followed by the very same experience when checking out with Jaelynn at the register. Great food and service, and extremely clean, it's got a very good ambience, not dark like the other restaurants plenty of natural light, will really give you a positive spirit. I ordered the corned beef hash with 2 eggs and it was perfect, cooked just right and they don't over season it, you will get to do the seasoning. The coffee was amazing, didn't even need creamer or sugar. My son also enjoyed the experience, the server Valerie gave him crayons and a coloring sheet. Valerie had a positive attitude with a smile. Kathy was also excellent, she works the cash counter and is very proactive and attended to all our requests. As a brown guy, I thank them for treating my son and I like human beings and not being racist which sometimes i get.
