Burger King — Restaurant in Lake Township

I decided to stop by here as the new Italian royal crispy chicken sandwich piqued my interest. Here are my thoughts.

Italian Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich: A clean looking with almost no mess from the sauce. There is sauce on both sides of the sandwich and the bun is toasted. A lot of the sandwich is hidden so you don’t see much. The cheese is disappointing. They could have done so much more with a higher-grade mozzarella instead of the plastic texture cheap mozzarella that actually tastes as well as looks like provolone. The sauce doesn't send the sandwich home either. I ended up adding my own sweet basil marinara sauce which made it better.

Mozzarella sticks: They actually almost cooked them perfectly. They were a little dark from being in the frier a few seconds too long, but otherwise perfectly melted & full of cheesy goodness. This Burger King doesn’t sprinkle salt on them like the weird one near me. They were delectable. You can’t help, but savor every bite.

Overall, this is a decent Burger King. They got my order out on time & the food was fresh. Unfortunately, I don’t see the Italian royal crispy chicken sandwich as a mainstay on the menu so it’ll most likely be gone by next Summer.

Super racist. If you come around noon there’s a funny table of old white men talking loudly about how they feel about the Blacks, the Latinos, the Asians etc with one of the employees. I tried working remotely here like I would at a cafe, this BK responded by locking the restrooms and telling me I was no longer allowed to order coffee, I had to order a full meal to work there. I think they thought a $10 meal would make me leave bc that’s what they make per hr LOL IDK I paid for the meal and finished working. I’m now working from a nearby Starbucks and my friend who isn’t black and is still working from this BK says they unlocked the restrooms once I went to Starbucks. To top it off, I’m pretty sure one of the employees called me the N-word, but my hearing isn’t great. I’m in the top 1%, this person flipped my burger... I'm finding it hard to care.

Also, idk why but the workers and the regular customers all have a gross splotchy rash on their faces. My friend who is still working remotely from this BK is now starting to get the rash, although I haven't had the heart...

I frequent this location on 110th and kedzie quite often in the morning and afternoons. The other day, I used the women's bathroom and an employee was in there smoking a substance. It did not smell like cigarettes or marijuana and when she walked out of the stall i saw a small glass pipe in her hand. She looked bug eyed, nervous, and her jaw was moving fast back n forth. It was very abnormal. Naturally I was shocked so I asked the manager and was told her name is Amy. She looked Latino and was about 5'-5'2" maybe 110-125 lbs with dark hair and black framed glasses. Her left eye is cross eyed. She also looked like she needed a shower and a rehab. She has worked there for awhile because i have been there on numerous occasions to pick up food for my work crew. The service is awful and now I know why. I can't believe they keep someone like that as an employee handling people's money and food. To make it even worse, she didn't even WASH HER HANDS AFTER THE BATHROOM. Crack...
