Grew up in this area 54th and Bishop. At that time we were the only Mexicans on the block sadly to see the area is full of Hispanics now. My family made a lot of good friends with the BPSN. AS FAR AS SHERMAN PARK GOES I REMEMBER BEING THERE IN THE EARLY '90S WITH MY FAMILY... Lots of Moe's ... But they were always inviting whenever they barbecue they always invited my father and us over there to eat with them... Not so much now went over there a few Sundays ago All Hispanics and they looked at me as though I was crazy and I'm full fledged Hispanic ! Read moreI've been coming to this place since I was a kid. It's so different now since the internet took over. Not a whole lot of books like before. Now I come here about 1-2 times a month to use the internet to print out or make copies. The computers recently start breaking down with a few available ones that works. So far, I always get one without making a reservation. There's not more that I can tell you about this library because I only go there for what I mentioned previously, but it has an area for children (computers & books), and I think programs for kids to seniors?
