Sassy Nails — Local services in Lake Township

I came here on a Sunday for the first time. When I came in I could see it was short staffed. The lady told me that two people were ahead of me. I waited for over an hour, and the person ahead of me left after waiting so long. Finally I get serviced, and the lady that did my nails was very nice. She actually held a conversation with me while she did my nails. I was very impressed with the work she did. She didn't give me lip for having her redo my shaping because I didn't like it. She did it with no hesitation and it was nice to not feel guilty for once by a nail technician. I got a pedicure from this man that was so fun! He made me feel very comfortable as a new customer. He made the heels of my feet baby smooth. He took his time and gave great attention to detail. I have NEVER had a nail salon put in so much work for me! The atmosphere there was very homey. The other customers I could tell were regulars and made themselves at home. I even had random ladies help me pick out my nail polish color when I couldn't choose, and they were happy to help. I feel that the shop itself could use some updates and the standards on cleanliness could improve. It would be nice if they hired a couple more people so that their customers didn't have to wait so long. Honestly, I wouldnt go to anyone but the two that helped me today, anyway. But, all in all, the customer service and quality of my nails was excellent! I love that they are open Sundays, open late, and the prices are awesome for the quality I got. I was feeling lazy and went to my nail salon two blocks from my home where I have gone before they were closing before 7 PM, I called sassy nails to see if I could come there for a pedicure. Lisa answered the phone and told me sure but it will be an hour wait and by the tone of her voice I felt extremely comfortable going , my sister told me just yesterday that she liked the way they did her nails and it was only two people working a husband and a wife and the wait was long. I have waited a very long time at a couple other nail salons but the service was not nearly as good as the service I’ve got here at Sassy Nails. I love this place, the owners husband and wife are such hard workers and they truly care about their customers, the only thing that's a curse yet a blessing is that the wife does great nails and her husband does great feet. They have it hard often working in the wee hours because they are so dedicated and their clients and they mean a lot to them! They really need to hire staff that are of their standards because they set the bar high and the clients only trust them."the curse"..
