Lake Wailes — Attraction in Lake Wales

A very nice lake to walk or jog around. Nice to have lunch at as well. They have a few kids parks near the lake. Not a place to swim in. Very quiet. I see a few people fish here but not a lot. They have a few chairs and tables but if you have a small gathering you definitely want to bring chairs and tables. They have a few basketball goals. The court isn't shaded so wear sunscreen atleast. Or go early morning or late evening. The lake is perfect for book reading...

It's beautiful. Hate all the stops signs, would have just been easier to control speed, also sidewalk needs to go all the way around the lake. The roads are small enough and it's hard to slow down and merge over when there are cars coming in the opposite lane and the person walking is coming towards your car.
