Enjoyed a nice walk here this morning. Was a very windy day but still enjoyed it. Saw some birds but not much other wildlife. A nice wide, paved trail that doesn't quite wrap around the lake but still a several mile trail from one end to the other. Lots of walkers, bikes, pets, and even some roller bladers. Plenty of parking areas around the lake, but not all paved, and not all marked but seemed that you could park pretty much anywhere. Only other downside was there were...

This passive park has a 12 ft wide trail that goes along the lake and is about 2.25 miles long. There are a few exercise stations along the trail.
There is a basketball court, fishing pier and boat ramp. There are several picnic tables and benches.
There are festivals held in the park several times a year. A great resource for our residents and visitors. Dogs on leashes...

Has a fishing pier with gazebo, lots of wildlife, benches, picnic tables, and plenty of paved and under tree parking. I did not see any restrooms. And the liter on the shore was an eyesore. But sitting under an ancient oak, the breeze on an otherwise warm day made this park a great rest spot. Looks like the paved walkway goes...
