Lake Parker Park is a public park located in Lakeland, Florida. The park offers a range of outdoor activities and amenities, including walking trails, picnic areas, a playground, and a boat ramp for fishing and boating.

The park is well-maintained and clean, with a variety of shaded areas for picnics and relaxation. The walking trails offer beautiful views of the lake and are perfect for a leisurely stroll or a jog. The playground is well-equipped and safe for children, making it a great option for families.

One downside to Lake Parker Park is that it can get quite crowded during peak hours, especially on weekends and holidays. Additionally, some of the picnic areas and pavilions require reservations in advance, which can be inconvenient for those who prefer to make spontaneous plans.

Overall, Lake Parker Park is a great option for those looking for a beautiful outdoor space to relax, exercise, or spend time with family and friends. While it may get crowded at times, the park's natural beauty and range of amenities make it a worthwhile destination for a day trip or...

I’ve been going to this park for 10 years. Although it is absolutely beautiful and scenic. I have noticed as of late, there is lots of trash everywhere. I don’t know if whoever maintains the part is not keeping up. Or, if it’s the influx of all the people moving here. Every trail seems to have trash on it. They have a really nice, very large playground for children of all ages. There are also boat ramps. Beware, there are alligators I have seen laying out sunbathing. Lots of little squirrels everywhere. Lovely trails for walking, running or biking. Although the paved trails do have a lot of of raised areas where roots have grown up underneath them. I would not suggest rollerskating or rollerblading on them. They have enclosed and open pavilion areas. It truly is a lovely little park. Just wish someone would clean up all the trash. Or, people could be more considerate and pick all of their garbage up...

Really amazing! I can't believe that this is not a more advertised attraction. The playground and parks are clean and really well designed. (Babies to Too Cool tweens, able to assistance needed- all kids can find something here to enjoy. ) Well-shaded play areas. Lots of pavilions and clean facilities to enjoy. And the trails- AMAZING! We saw alligators up close, beautiful birds and turtles. The flowers and trees are just breathtaking. The trails have been paved and plenty of signage. Great for strollers, bikes, wheelchairs... and amazing visit for homeschooling. We enjoyed it so much. I really can't believe that it's free and so hidden. It's a wonderful place to take the family, picnic and spend the day. Surprisingly enough- very few mosquitoes or ants & no one got sunburned. Its going to be a frequent outing for us for now on....

What a great place for family events, community service clubs or just to hang out. The wind off the lake can be fierce at time, but usually it’s tolerable. We were there attending a North Lakeland Lions Club fishing tournament and fund raiser. You can’t reserve a covered picnic area so you have to get there early to have someone “stake” your area or you won’t have a place to hold your event. The picnic tables are usually covered in bird poop and need to be cleaned off before use - so bring plenty of rags and spray cleaner. At our area there was a water faucet so we used a hose to wet everything down to clean. Abundant wildlife (birds) for bird watchers! There is so much available- from kids playground to ball fields. Excellent city park facilities. Restrooms were nearby and fairly clean as far as public restrooms go.

Beautiful location prime real estate. Exquisite park for the grandchildren of any age. Equipment galore swings, merry go rounds, climbing, pirate ship, and so much more for them to play and explore great for them to exert all that energy. Able to view an abundance of Florida wildlife in action. Parents will need to keep small tykes close so that they don't wander to close to water due to the wildlife that is in abundance here. There is plenty of parking available here.
