Read moreI’ve been going to this park for 10 years. Although it is absolutely beautiful and scenic. I have noticed as of late, there is lots of trash everywhere. I don’t know if whoever maintains the part is not keeping up. Or, if it’s the influx of all the people moving here. Every trail seems to have trash on it. They have a really nice, very large playground for children of all ages. There are also boat ramps. Beware, there are alligators I have seen laying out sunbathing. Lots of little squirrels everywhere. Lovely trails for walking, running or biking. Although the paved trails do have a lot of of raised areas where roots have grown up underneath them. I would not suggest rollerskating or rollerblading on them. They have enclosed and open pavilion areas. It truly is a lovely little park. Just wish someone would clean up all the trash. Or, people could be more considerate and pick all of their garbage up...
Read moreReally amazing! I can't believe that this is not a more advertised attraction. The playground and parks are clean and really well designed. (Babies to Too Cool tweens, able to assistance needed- all kids can find something here to enjoy. ) Well-shaded play areas. Lots of pavilions and clean facilities to enjoy. And the trails- AMAZING! We saw alligators up close, beautiful birds and turtles. The flowers and trees are just breathtaking. The trails have been paved and plenty of signage. Great for strollers, bikes, wheelchairs... and amazing visit for homeschooling. We enjoyed it so much. I really can't believe that it's free and so hidden. It's a wonderful place to take the family, picnic and spend the day. Surprisingly enough- very few mosquitoes or ants & no one got sunburned. Its going to be a frequent outing for us for now on....
