As a local artist from Zephyrhills, I will have several paintings included in the upcoming Arts & Rec! exhibition inside Lake Crago Center from June 5 through September 17, 2023. I was excited to be chosen to be a part of this local art showcase and even more so when I delivered my artwork today and was able to tour the facility for the first time. This definitely is a show piece of excellence in both form and function. Elegantly modern and dynamic, both park grounds and facility are warmly inviting and quietly energetic. As such, the complex creates a perfectly balanced backdrop to any number of events and gatherings. Even at first visit I can easily imagine a solid, year round schedule of special event bookings for this venue. I should also note that the Center staff members who helped me deliver and check in my art work were friendly, helpful, and obviously proud of their facility. Facility Manager, Scott, and Assistant, Katherine, made the delivery process as easy and clear as possible and I suspect that these attributes carry over to how the staff engages with anyone renting or using the Lake Crago facility for their event, class, or gathering. All in all, from its elegant design to its helpful and engaging staff, I would heartily recommend making use of Lakeland's beautiful addition to their park and civic use locations. At the very least, venture out to see Arts and Rec! and Art Crawl Inc.'s showcase of emerging local artists starting June 5, and wander the picturesque grounds to enjoy so much of the inspiration that Central Florida...

Our daughter's wedding ceremony and reception were both held here last week and it was fabulous! Taylor and everyone else were exceptional! They were very professional and timely in communicating with us and making adjustments as requested. On top of that, they were so kind and friendly! The venue was beautiful! We loved the view through the windows of the trees and lake. The dock is such a great opportunity for beautiful photos. The kitchen was perfect for keeping food for 100 people warm and ready to go. There was lots of space in the refrigerator and freezer too. We rented a classroom for getting ready and we're glad we spent the extra money for it. The banquet hall was perfect for our group of 100. The aisle for the ceremony became the dance floor for the reception and there was plenty of room for dancing. We had space for cookie tables, a gift table, a string quartet, and 4 food/drink tables additionally. The sound system was great - we were able to play music on their speakers using Bluetooth and they provided 2 microphones. *Keep your phone close to signal to avoid skipping. Thanks again Taylor and everyone else who made our day...

It took 3 1/2 years of living in the area to discover this area existed- which is upsetting because of how insanely beautiful it is!

My friend got married here, and the lake was the backdrop to their ceremony. It could not have been more stunning. I wish I had more pictures. The main building of the rec center is rented out for weddings constantly, and actually had a decent sized ballroom that was perfect for the reception. It also has huge windows looking out in the lake.

If you’re not planning to get married or go to a wedding soon, don’t worry. This is still a park area that you can come to anytime. You can actually rent kayaks and paddle boards to take out on the water, or bring your own.

There are some other parts of the park that span out far past the main building. I know one has a dog park, and I think there is plenty of room for outdoor activities at all the rest. I was really blown away by just how big this area was, but it’s completely hidden when driving past. A great,...

This was a very pretty spot. Came here the other day for a group meeting. Had never been here before. The grounds and facility was nice and well maintained. Met some of the staff who are friendly. Great resource for Lakeland and the surrounding areas.

Heard from a reliable source that fishing is good from the peir . It's closed due to storm and bank fishing is very limited due to vegetation. Would be nice if they would clear some spots for those of us who don't own a boat
