Evergreen Kosher Market — Attraction in Lakewood Township

OK.. The store has a huge selection of foods and all sorts of goodies. The takeout could be a drop better but its not bad. The Bakery is better then decent with typical baked goods. The main issue is that the aisles are to narrow and in the back they put the cereals and other pallets right in the middle and causes a huge jam. The staff wasn't the friendliest, but the last few times i went it was much better. Also there was tons of traffic by the bakery on Friday when they bring out the challahs (you cant move nothing). Now there is a new manager Yermi and I already saw the changes that he is implementing and lets see how it will work out. Will post an update. I was curious about this store and went inside to food shop a little and when I asked if they had a certain spice they said sorry this is a mainly Jewish store. Wow I never in my life felt so embarrassed because it was near two customers and they heard, when I told management they said they would speak to the worker and Not once did they ask which employee had said that to me. I then decided to just look around and found out that the employees not only are rude but really care about the store multiple people just in a isle chatting, Me be curious led to my embarrassment but I also learned that it's not worth me going to a store to shop when I would feel like a black sheep...

Evergreen Lakewood is so disappointing! they have the WORST customer service, i have had many incidents there with terrible attitude from the employees, when asking a question you get no help and there is nobody who can even help you. i actually stopped shopping there for a while because of this and i tried now again...i had a small issue which is fairly simple for an evergreen employee to assist me with, but instead i got attitude and no interest in them helping me. I juts ended up canceling an entire Shabbos order because of it. I've also spoken to many people around the community and everyone agreed with me on this. I just hope they can make some...
