The gazebo at the Garden of Five Senses in Lancaster Co. Central Park is an excellent venue for small outdoor weddings (ours was 17 guests). The gazebo can be rented at an affordable rate through the county park website. The garden itself is nice and quiet even on a Saturday afternoon. Great for photos. There are parking lots above and below the venue, and there are restrooms up the hill from the garden. Fairy accessible for walkers and wheelchairs. We brought a small battery-powered sound system and standing mic with us so that our guests could hear what the officiant was saying. Make sure to provide your guests with fans for the heat or umbrellas in case it starts raining. Decorators can't use nails in the wood; we rented chairs.

Awesome five senses park! Nice trail, variety of plants, and flowers. There is an interesting gazebo, sun dial and informative tidbits all over the trail regarding the plants, some FAQ, and other info. there is a water feature that goes all over the trail and starts from the top. There are plenty of trails present, BBQ spots, and just plenty of spots to park your vehicle and lounge around. There is a restroom available, and a pool(closed) and children play grounds sprinkled throughout the park. Good place to unwind and appreciate nature! Highly recommend to visit!

Discover the natural beauty and recreational bliss of Lancaster County Central Park, the largest county park spanning 544 acres. Located on the southern edge of Lancaster City in West Lampeter Township, this park is a favorite among locals and visitors for its diverse facilities and scenic trails. Whether you’re looking to cool off in the county swimming pool, show off your skills at the skate park, or host a private function at one of the six pavilions, there’s something for everyone. Don’t miss the Garden of Five Senses, a sensory delight with its array of flowering plants and a water fountain. For the adventurous, the park offers trails for hiking, biking, and even horseback riding, while campers can enjoy the Mill Creek Camping Area. With a rich history and a commitment to environmental education, Lancaster County Central Park is a true...

Better than nothing amenity for Lancaster City residents, but would recommend driving 20-30 minute further south to another conservancy site unless you are pressed for time. Avoid summer weekends. Biggest issue I have are there are a lot of roads that cut through the park and most cars driving through aren't park goers but people cutting through as fast as possible doing like 45 in a 25 around bends and blowing stop signs while pedestrians are trying to cross the street for the trail connections. Loud music is frequently played at the rentable pavilions scattered around the park. Unfortunately lots of trash discarded on ground near...
