Walgreens — Attraction in Largo

Otc diabetic supplies, used to take these supplies for granted, but now most stores & pharmacies are not selling pen needles otc so pharmacy must be open to purchase & all pharmacies are now closing much earlier than in years past - so when your daughter needs to take her insulin & both mother & daughter didn't realize we were completely out of pen needles - Walgreens was the only place that saved the day! We also found alcohol pads with a bit of lidocaine in them to assist with the ease & comfort of injecting insulin a life saver for a child or a person in constant consistent pain from full body Crps like my daughter she highly recommends if such a thing is needed. The staff is okay , not too bad. I come here because it's convenient to where I live. Unfortunately I've noticed in the past that they're always out of a lot of the things/brands/ products I seem to need time and time again. I just went in to exchange a gift card box I bought in the oldsmars store. I Saw 3D gift card box that impressed me. I thought I'll Exchange it later near home . Well, of course they don't have it at the Walgreens on Roosevelt ; along with an illuminated solar powered dog figurine that the other stores carry in their summer section. This Walgreens location is closest for me and my family. I appreciate that we are all in new different times, however the pharmacy at this location closes, without warning, and will still receive your prescription. You will not know your prescription isn’t being refilled until you check the status, only to find out the store is “temporarily closed”. This is not the first time this has happened but I feel like we depend on Walgreens to be open to provide the necessary healthcare they indicate in their mission statement. If this store cannot staff the store/pharmacy I think they should at least notify or reject the prescription so people know their is a problem and can go to another location.
