ZERO STARS!! This place is lacking in ethical and proper ownership! Let’s start with the fact people have to fight in the parking lot just to get a parking spot. They don’t even have enough parking spots! The concession is cash only and they say absolutely nothing about that at the front until you get all the way back to the concession. Then when you get to the concession, they’re serving you red Baron pizza at $13 a pop! This place is trifling! When I called to book my daughter’s birthday party a week in advance they told me they had no availability, which is Cool! I said not a problem. I will just come and skate with the family for my daughter’s birthday And we will go back to the house and party down there. As soon as I get here, it’s a crap show! They have some dirty table as soon as you walk in for you to sign some kind of waiver. You absolutely still can get sued, by the way, if you are negligent with the maintenance of your property. Management is trash and they say one thing over the phone and another when you get here! I asked if there was a way for the manager to come out and ask people that are just squatting at tables not eating, not drinking anything to have them move So those of us who want to eat can sit down, And the manager tells you he can’t ask people to leave. You’re stupid. Then when I complained about people hosting parties here bringing outside stuff And taking up multiple tables, He has the nerve to say, “Well, they bought 15 bottles of water!” This place is trash! Owners are trash! The concession girls Are amazing super professional, and very kind! Because of poor ownership these girls were taking smack from everyone! Sad! Worst part is they think it’s OK to not have a working register with itemized receipt. If the receipt isn’t gonna be itemized, that’s fine, but they don’t have receipts Period! You had over 10 birthday parties at one time… At 300+ a pop and you can’t afford to fix your register system?! Trash! Zero stars! Don’t waste your money here! You could go to Costco Albertsons, Smith’s any one of those other places and get the food they serve here! I’ve been to other skating rinks that have way better accommodations than this place and it’s sad! Just because it’s on the north side of town doesn’t mean people don’t deserve good ownership and good facilities to entertain themselves at! Let’s add a little icing to the cake because as I’m standing here at concession writing the scathing review another customer had a massive issue with the way their Station looked! There was syrup everywhere and the pizza “station” was a little messy. When she confronted the worker the young lady told her to speak with management and was indignant. She will be calling the health department! I’m honestly considering making a video about this and posting it on social media! I never do that! But this place makes me want to save other individuals from even spending their money here In this...
Read moreWent for the first time tonight after about 20 years. I went here as a kid back then and had fun! I'm giving 5 stars for what I experienced tonight. The wood rink is amazing and smooth! I noticed people dancing outside the center area, which puts them and others skating around the rink in a bit of danger for a collision. You definitely need to be extremely aware of your surroundings. That also goes for the lack of controlling the direction of skating. Kids and adults alike were skating opposite of the flow. Again that could be a bad situation. People with head phones on, because I guess they didn't like the music, I didn't mind it, heck I barely listened to it. I'm not dropping stars because it is our responsibility as skaters to be aware of our surroundings and paying attention to avoid others. Lockers are available for $.50, and there is a coin machine to put a dollar in. It's a skate rink, always bring cash, they take card at the door for an over $ amount for someone buying several skate session. I didn't pay much attention to it since I already knew to bring cash. I paid $10 to skate all day, which is a good price for a Saturday. There was plenty of kids out numbering us adults out there, but I thought is was cool to see they're keeping skating rinks alive. Everyone was having a great time and it was a cool vibe. I had a coke, it was good and not flat. A large was $3.50 cash. It's a skating rink expect to pay more. Not sure if you can bring in food and drinks, I didn't ask or try. I loved, and I mean loved the neon Vegas skyline artwork on the back turn of the rink! That was pure B.A. artwork! It's the best rink I've been to, as far as that floor and artwork are concerned. The lighting was nice and disco like. It got crowded but I was still able to skate and enjoy it. I saw the little ones using the skatemates to assist them learning. A good option for parents teaching the little ones not to hold their hands forever and learn to be dependent on skates. Rollerblading out numbers skating but it didn't take away from my fun and well needed workout. It is unseasonably cooler around here than usual, it's June and it was only 90 degrees today, so the building was cool enough, even with all the Saturday crowd. All in all, I loved it. I wanted to check it out because I'm starting to teach my 5 year old daughter to skate. I will be bringing her here, and I'll also be back for more sessions. Very cool place, I...
Read moreThis is a fantastic roller skating rink for families, big parties or just a day to have fun spinning around the rink. First you enter a check in area where security will check you for any weapons. I appreciated this for safety reasons. You’ll need to sign a paper only waiver for the adults to enter which also covers your kids. Then you move to the payment window where you can rent roller skates, roller blades, or bring your own but if of course you must pay to skate. After that you get into the open area where you buy skates or parts if you like, access the rink, the snack bar, the area to collect your skates or rent a locker for 1$. They do have both but roller blades are limited depending on size. You can also rent a skating stand for 5$ for the hour for those little ones who need help with balance. I thought this was very clever in useful to give kids independence when skating yet the support they need until they are comfortable. There is an ATM and coin machine as well. You will need cash for the snack bar and coins for the lockers. Plenty of tables for seating at well. The rink was a lot of fun l, great music and games like limbo and racing at times. There were several birthday parties going on and the staff did a fantastic job keeping up. The snack bar was slow, but considering how busy it was I can understand. Order your food ahead if you plan to eat here! The staff was very polite and helpful. The place was clean, they even had staff on the rink all the time to help anyone who fell which was much appreciated. Will...
