Latrobe Memorial Stadium — Attraction in Latrobe

Located in downtown, Latrobe Memorial stadium hosts a wide range of events throughout the year. The ACS Relay for Life spans a June weekend. Various community walk/runs take place throughout the year. High school track & field meets, including a large invitational and WCCA occur each spring. In mid summer, the Pittsburgh Steelers hold a Friday night practice that has been broadcast by ESPN. Thanks to this event, the grass playing surface is amazing. I've been here a couple times for Football and even though it's no a frills very standard type facility it's has charm. Maybe it's the pool beyond the one end zone or the reminders of a industry past in the distance behind the other.. Nice Stadium to relax and forget life...
