This is a beautiful well kept park, in the center of down town Latrobe, Pa...Theres always fun activities going on, community based activities, Everybody is encouraged- to visit Legion Keener Park -best all around park for kids of any age...There are many diff sized pavilions which can all be reserved, in advance for birthday party's & other private celebrations. There is a large ball field, running track, bike trail, and Latrobe's community swimming pool is also within L.Keener park. There are many Frer summer events- music concerts, and various other summer activities, ex; huge antique/ classic car show held in the park- during August, a huge fireworks display in July...The farmers market is held during the week frim 12-4, also a summer fun carnival/food fair....to mention just a few of Latrobe 's summer events*held at beautiful Legion Keener Park. We all love the walking paths & One of the favorite places for my almost 3yr old to visit when she's not riding her scooter 🛴/bike 🚲 is the playland area LOL 🤗😍 we were just there about a week ago since we like to plan a trip at least 1x week when the weather starts getting nice again and of course she did not want to leave LOL so that in itself says how great of a place this is!!! Read moreI went up to Latrobe and took my son to watch Steelers Training camp which was under the lights at Greater Latrobe Highschool!Well it so happened that Legion Keener was right next to where everyone was parking for the Steelers practice!So anyway my son spent a good 2 to 3 hours at the playground having a blast!It's by far probably one of the biggest kid parks that I have ever seen!We make sure to go back to training camp when they have it under the lights at Greater Latrobe instead of being over at St. Vincent college in because of...
