SS Copenhagen Shipwreck — Attraction in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea

I think this is the only wreck in Fort Lauderdale easily accessible without a boat. With your scuba gear on swim past the swimming buoy. It is about parallel with Sea Watch On The Ocean restaurant. Very cool amazing reef although it looks open and an easy dive don’t go near the tubes there’s lots of silt and we had to rescue two divers from another boat . You can get into some issues if you’re not careful, the area has some note worthy history and the site sprawls a few acres with lots of marine species the dive site is not to deep either...

Nice spot for a shallow dive and some fish. The ledge just north of the wreck is nice too, but not better than all the others. Great for a shore dive, if you do not want to spend money in charting a boat. You go with a 80CUft tank on a snorkel and enjoy about 1.2 hours underwater...
