St George Park — Attraction in Lauderhill

St. George is a central Broward neighborhood located between State Rd 7 and I-95. It was a census-designated place until 2005 when it was annexed along with the neighborhood of West Ken Lark by Lauderhill.

Park amenities include a baseball field, basketball court, benches, bleachers, cricket field, gym, meeting room, football field, pavilion, covered playground, restroom, soccer field, exercise path, and water fountain.

Lauderhill has introduced a new program called CivicRec to make it even easier to register for events, classes, and activities in this park and other parks in the city. The park is not the big problem, it’s the crowd there. The park do need to upgrade the playground. It has no shade and the slides are old and rusty. Which is dangerous for toddlers. There are always young kids over there making out in the kids slide and on the playground. Few times seen use condoms over there.
