I was a customer of Hartwell Marina for several years. I was very happy with the location, amenities, the facilities and the friendly staff. I sold the boat and was absent for a few years. I bought a boat (new to me) this year. I never hesitated to contact the marina since I was familiar with them. I learned the facility had been sold. I drove down to personally see the new Sunlife Marina. I am very satisfied with the facility today! The staff is awesome! Facilities are cleaner and changing for the better each time I visit to use my boat. The J dock is new and laid out very well. The slip price is very competitive. The paving of the roads to access all the docks are almost done this October. I do not worry about security here. If you are looking for a home for your boat, I would recommend Sunlife Marina. They offer uncovered slips, covered slips (different sizes) and dry stack storage. To my knowledge, they are the only dry stack storage on lake Hartwell. The restaurant is a huge plus for boaters with a really nice dock and fuel dock very close. I am a happy customer of...

Lake Hartwell Marina is the kind of place where your stress disappears faster than cell service on the water. The docks are solid, the snacks are plentiful, and the staff? Legendary — especially Cooper Green. Not sure if he’s the manager, the mechanic, or the unofficial mayor of the lake, but if something needs fixing (boat, engine, life choices), he’s your guy.
Boat rentals are smooth, fuel’s easy to get, and the views? Straight-up screen-saver worthy. Forgot sunscreen? You’ll remember after one lap around the lake looking like a lobster in a life vest.
This place has everything you need: friendly service, clean facilities, and just enough chaos to feel like a real adventure. Bonus points if you spot Cooper mid-lake handing out wisdom and duct tape.

When brought to the attention of service manager I was told his people did not do it. After several calls, none of which got returned, they offered to sell me a new steering wheel. Also, mechanic noted engine noise on my invoice. I took the boat to second marina in Hartwell at my buyers request. After diagnostics were done I was told two stroke 90hp mercury motors make a lot of noise and all noises noted were normal. My buyer purchased the boat after I absorbed the cost of a new wheel. This marina is no longer my...
