Tri State Antique Market — Attraction in Lawrenceburg Township

I've been attending your show in Lawrenceburg for many years. I was highly disappointed today to find that you police the vendors to insure they are selling just what you want them to sell. Apparently it doesn't just have to do with objects being vintage or antique since there are plenty of items there which are neither which troubles most of us not at all - your venue isn't about to become a flea market. It's basically a pretty great show and is received well by the general public! Now to my aggravation - two of my favorite vendors used to offer secondary market Hallmark ornaments which are hard to come by anywhere else (except on eBay) and your "police" made them take them down. Why? They are definitely collectibles and are in demand. So you hurt the vendors, the customers, and gain what???? Get a grip, Tristate - don't offend your vendors or your customers by determining what is collectible...

With the first show open to the public since the pandemic (Covid-19) outbreak, I was pleasantly surprised at the vendor and shopper turnout. Based on my prior visits, I would say approximately 50% of the dealers showed (most wearing mask in the extreme heat - Thank you!) ... I arrived late (10:30 a.m.)....stayed until about 1:30 p.m. My only points of contention... $4.00 admission fee (up from the prior year and knowing there would be fewer vendors) and some of the dealers did start packing up early and leaving.... (I understand it was over 90 degrees, but we paid a price to get in, and they agreed by contract to stay until 3 p.m.).... All in all solid show considering weather and...

If I missed a post alerting people that most Vendors wouldn't be there then I am sorry. If there wasn't then shame on you. People drive hours and pay to get in. Out of all the times I have been there I believe today was the worst. Maybe let travelers know ahead of time that there will be a lack of Vendors. Gas isn't cheap. I usually love to drive over.
