KFC — Restaurant in Lawrenceburg Township

We travel a lot so I would say this is slightly above average as KFC’s go. However, we have had an ongoing problem that is unique to this store. This year due to the virus we rely strictly on carry-out. Each time we order a bucket of chicken with three sides. Two of the sides are always mashed potatoes and gravy. The first time this happened I got home and found we got two mashed potatoes but only one gravy. A week or so later the same thing happened so I drove back to the store and waited in line to get my other gravy. Having learned my lesson I now do not keave until I check everything. Sure enough including today this has happened four more times for a total of six. They don’t react, they don’t apologize, they just give me the other gravy and I leave. This cannot be an accident!. This has to be a policy of this particular store to do this. If there was another KFC nearby I would go there because what they are doing is fundamentally dishonest and...

I took my daughters here for a later dinner for the buffet at 8 pm I knew the restaurant closed at 9pm. We go through the buffet line and are informed that they are fixing to tear down the buffet...I said we just got here, so they kept it up a little longer. We sit down to eat after I cleaned our table and seats with baby wipes because they were dirty. And by 8:15 we are approached and told that we needed to get what we wanted because they were tearing down. Thinking... They close at 9 they should stop serving and let ppl know this much sooner. So I went up got my 4 yr old food what she wanted and extra plates because we were being rushed. By 8:28 another employee came to the table to inform us that they were closing down. So we ended up tossing our food and leaving. Both kids were still hungry and I was so aggravated I couldn't think about food. Money wasted! Time wasted! My husband and I have eaten here plenty of times. However, today, was a completely different. The place was fairly packed. The garbage cans were overflowing. The dining room was short on napkins, and a few other things. The cashier greeted us. An began telling us how her feet hurt. She had been there since 10am. She would be getting off at 6pm. (She was supposed to get off at 3:30pm. They asked her to stay over because they are so short staffed) She held out a piece of paper that said "Now Hiring" an if you know of anyone that needs a job needs to come here. As for the food, I was very disappointed. Most of the foods were low. An there was no one up there to refill it. Lots of people had to stand and wait for their chicken.
