It's so great to have this splash pad for the kids (and adults!) to play in. I love that it gives a FREE fun activity to do with your family and friends. The only thing I've noticed kids don't like is the water that sprays coming upwards on the stairs. It's just a lot of water! Other than that it lots of fun for hours!

I enjoy taking my kids here over the summer. They love the bucket dump but are not a fan of the slide. They said it hurts their butt. The drop must be pretty harsh, so watch out for that. There are usually a good amount of people, but there are lots of shade options to sit and watch the kiddos.

My daughter loves it! But only one concern. The slide is dangerous.. at the end of the slide they have a short slippery mat.. My daughter and her cousin could not stop and went over the concrete and scratched themselves on the concrete. Other then that part. They enjoyed it!

The splash pad was just ok. If you're just looking for a place to get wet and cool off, this place will work but my kids that are all under 6 didn't find it very fun. There really isn't a lot to do other then stand in different places to get splashed and most of those place were too scary for my little kids. There is a slide but there isn't really anything to stop the kids so if they get up too much momentum, they will end up hitting cement. The water doesn't run nonstop but that is a good thing. A LOT of the kids were actually playing on the slide more when the water wasn't running and they even ran away when it started again. The most fun my kids had was actually in the dry playground that is across the parking lot. It has a lot to climb on which is perfect for my kids. It is the only reason that I gave it 3 starts...

There is a couple of small water things and just one big attraction which is the slide; there are 40+ kids all trying to go down the slide and no one is waiting for the kids to clear the landing pad until they come flying down the slide, so if you have littles this isn’t the place to be. I saw so many kids crying to their moms about being kicked or hit on the slide. . . Also, let’s talk about the “convenient” shade provided, they have these Canopy’s all set up around the splash pad. Don’t mistake this for actual shade! My baby and I got fried 😢 I thought we were safe since we were shaded and there were no reflections from the water. I wish the pad was flat and not a fish bowl layout because it would be difficult to bring a canopy that actually shaded you. I will not be going back to this splash pad until my kids...

This splash pad was one of the first built in the area. At the time, it was so cool and unique! Since then, Layton City has done a great job of trying to make it more appealing, providing shade, keeping the area clean, and functioning.

The splash pad itself just isn't well designed. I think other cities have learned from the mistakes here. There really aren't many things to do at this one, and it came with a slide that in all honestly, is just a little dangerous. There are constant collisions, fights, and problems. Probably worth re-evaluating the design...
