Skating Ellison park in Layton, Utah. this park is for sure built for bikes, but this is the park I grew up with and have always loved ❣️ #skateboarding #skating #sk8 #skater #followcam

This is a beautifully kept facility. There are soccer fields, baseball fields, softball fields, a skate park, football fields, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, a splash pad, little kid play grounds, and what looks like a sandbox. There are restrooms near the baseball/football fields, near the softball diamonds/splash pad, and out by the pickle ball courts. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. The toilet paper was middle grade. (Not Charmin, but also not see through) There is parking in the whole middle of the complex as well as on the west side. There is a gravel parking lot on the north east side of the complex, near the pickle ball courts. **NO DOGS** **NO SMOKING OR VAPING** **Reservations needed for the softball fields**

6+ year more friendly. My toddler found the huge bowl of water dumping overwhelming, he didn't want to play on the playground water area because of it and HE LOVES slides. Not friendly for babies. Not oriented for kids to run wild, the playground is far away, with a sand pit very close to the parking lot. I also didn't love it for my older kiddo because the concession stand blocked the bleachers near by making it easy for them to wander off with other kids. I live fairly close but I'll be driving to further splash pads.

This park is great free place to go and shed some heat. there are public bathrooms and a variety of fun amenities like a giant bucket that fills up every couple minutes that can splash 30 to 40 kids at a time, and a water slide with lots of water obstacles to get there. no way you will not be wet after playing at this pad. there is a silver button to the south of the pad on a wall next to a garage door that will reactivate the water after it times out. give it a minute after pressing because it needs time to fill up the pipes and multiple presses will not speed it up. there are some nice shady canopy things around, but i would reccomend bringing your own shade because there are usually a lot of people there. the major area that i have had my daughter get hurt is from slipping off of the bottom part of the slide onto the cement and getting some skinned elbows so just be careful. all in all it is fun and cool.

it is located between the tennis court and baseball fields but you should be able to see it from the parking lot.

there are bathrooms on the east side of the building that has the...

So much fun. W take the kids to go play with the water then head over top the playground dude. My only issue is that some bigger kids kept climbing up the water slide which was both dangerous as sometimes they would slip and almost land on other kids going down and holding up the line for little ones who were waiting to go down and their father was just standing there I guess not having a problem with any of this. Anyway at one point they were hanging out by the list of rules posted on the snack building and were pointing out "it doesn't say anything about climbing up the slide!" So i guess someone had already told them but they continued to do it. Maybe just for the sake of saving argument there should be a nice big sign stating "please do not climb up the slide!" since there are parents who refused to educate their children about safety. Because i know for a fact had i seen one of those larger kids land on one my Lil ones or any other littles going down the slide I would be flippin livid if...

Cute concept for a splash pad, but the execution and layout are horrible. I love that it has a slide (most splash pads don't), but you can't even get to it without being relentlessly sprayed in the face the entire way there. My child and I have autism, and being sprayed in the face is a big trigger for me. I was miserable after trying to play with my kid for 5 minutes on this thing becuase there was literally nothing on it that wasn't blasting me in the face nonstop. I feel like the other kids felt the same way becuase they would all make a dash for the slide every time the water features would turn off for a minute. My other complaint was that the playground was a block away across multiple roads and parking lots, which means if you have littles, you're choosing one or the other. The playground is fun though and has some interesting features that you don't often see on...
