🌅I adore going here in the early morning. It's like a treasure hunt for new animals—I once walked right up to a woodpecker during my morning stroll. It's such a cool spot!
This is a fantastic place to walk, soak in some fresh air, and enjoy the wildlife. On most visits, I've spotted several types of ducks, Canadian geese, a kingfisher, a heron, songbirds, and even an otter or two.
I was part of the team that sponsored "Guitars under the Stars" here. We put in a lot of effort setting up and tearing down, and we helped the bands with all their needs over the weekend. I got to meet some amazing people! The park is a stunning and ideal location for this event. I truly believe that with a bit more organization and volunteer commitment, this event could be a huge hit! Hokland Home Builders & Remodeling will definitely be back next year....

But no strawberry products (one farm brought strawberries - their first year)... No deserts, juices, jams or any actual fresh strawberry food items (the pinnacle of any fruit festival!). The Bands were definitely entertaining and varied in skill level or vocals as expected. Definitely worth it. It was a nice small venue with small vendors selling merchandise or food / drinks.
