We had a scare with the staff as we were preparing to leave this farm. We obliged them as they pushed us to leave even though there were still 30mins before closing. My wife was bottle feeding our 9 month old son, while sitting in a covered picnic area. A young lady approached my wife and rudely stated, “our park closes in 30minutes! You need to wrap things up!”. I was using their restroom at the time, and once my wife told me the situation, the young lady returned beside us (only 5minutes after her first confrontation) and explained to us we needed to leave. I explained to her there is no need to be rude, and that we were getting things wrapped up. As we began loading the car, an older man in a golf cart circled around us, while staring us down. There were still several other vehicles wrapping things up as well in the parking lot. Why he chose to threaten us, is beyond me. I looked back at him and showed him a sign that we were leaving. So, beware of the staff here! Verbal threats and physical scare tactics are what these people promote. Although there is a lot of potential for this to be a nice family destination, the staff are borderline criminal. I am in the process of writing an official complaint to the county about our circumstance. Already receiving response from the State park and recreation division confirming we have not been the only family dealing with...
Read moreThe first time I visited the Park, It was love at first sight for me.My family and I have been going there ever since and have even refer a lot of people including my Kids daycare there as well. The reason I am writing this review is because of the exceptional care and kindness of one of the Staff Rachel at the Temple Halls farm. I left my camera behind during my last visit to the farm,She found my camera, the battery was dead. She went out of her way to buy a charger, charged the camera and was able to find me on Facebook with the pictures on the camera so she can return it to me. This is a great extra effort and I am truly impressed and very grateful to her .She did not have to, but yet she went far and beyond to make sure a customer she did not know get her camera back. Now you can even get a Bokay of beautiful flower for just $5.I got some during...
Read moreNot so great. Corn maze, a few of each of the following: goats, peacocks, cows, horses, etc... Bouncy pillows, a lasso area, two big slides, and a small playground. $10ea to get in and that included my two year old. We've been going to different farms/parks since covid happened and this one has been the biggest let down. We won't be back and I personally don't recommend it considering how many other, better places are nearby. Would be 2 stars, but I gave an extra one because we were able to get pretty...
