River Front Park is the heart of River Grove. The park is a beautiful oasis with well-maintained landscaping and an abundant mix of new and mature trees. Located alongside the Des Plaines River, it has convenient access to its trail and connections to several forest preserves and other points of interest along it. Very beautiful park in River Grove. Right next to a wonderful bike and walking trail along side of the Des Plaines river. Lots of picnic tables, a wonderful gazebo, a playground for kids, and a cute new little path with a pond. Great place to spend am afternoon at, there's water fountains and public porta potties. Extremely clean park. Never any litter or anything. Also great spot cause they hold many carnivals and festivals...
