Great waterfall that doesn’t take much effort to get to. Perfect for kids. The trail can be steep at times and is rocky so keep that in mind. With that said, it doesn’t take long to et to kinsman falls, maybe .5 miles from The Basin.
I stop here almost every time I am in the area. Start your hike at The Basin (exit right off 93) and take the Basin Cascade Trail to Kinsman falls. You will see many small cascades and waterfalls on the way to Kinsman falls. You can continue up the trail further to Rocky GLENN Falls if your feeling up to it.

It’s worth the roughly 2 mile round trip hike to visit on its own, or taking this route if you’re looking to get to Kinsman or Lonesome Lake. I’d consider this a light to moderate hike as a seasoned WMNF hiker.
