Has accessible viewing areas and parking. There are public bathrooms available. Several parking options and great swimming holes.

Be aware - the hiking should not be classified as easy. Several aging and persons with limitations had to opt out of some of the more slick areas.

The tree roots are fantastic built-in steps but there are several spots where granite is the ground cover and it’s slick from mud and water. Dogs are allowed on the trails but the older puppers seemed to struggle.

Highly recommend if you are able-bodied. Exercise caution for any person in mobility recovery and for persons unable to walk...

What a fun spot to explore, our kids really enjoyed it too! We loved the big open flat rock areas with water trickling over, would have enjoyed sitting her for a picnic lunch.

We went on a cool day in August, but would be a great spot to cool down on a hot day!

Thankfully bugs were not present since it was a cool morning. Definitely worth a visit!

There was plenty of free parking, and outhouses (which were extremely stinky, and we've done our fair share of outdoor potty stops), but if you've gotta go then...

I have 🙈 seen the signs for the Basin along both sides of I-93. I parked on the northbound side, walked in the tunnel and followed the signs to the Basin. There was still plenty of water 💦 running through it from the Pemigewasset River. There are sections, one a waterfall, near it to explore as well. One had developed a little wading pool. The Basin itself is roped off. The Basin is a granite pothole that is estimated to be 20' in diameter. It can be part of your exploration of the area...

Basin is nearer the southbound but if you park on the northbound, no worries. There is a pathway going/crossing the road. Signs are visible. It is really near the carpark so you actually dont sweat when you reach it. And the roads are paved especially going to the handicap viewing area. Not that stroller friendly due to the natural landscape of the ground. On the way to the basin you could see the river and some minor falls for more enjoyment of the walk. Parking space is ample.
