I came across the Lin Jewelers when I went to the Piedmont Shopping Center doing errands and I was really glad I found this place and met in person the owner Mr Wilson Lin who was super nice and honestly gave helpful opinions for my jewelry I have owned years ago - some have broke and some need to be re-sized. I have tried consulting with jewelry shops at the Mall in the past but they do not even have a person who can personally assess the worth of my jewelry and was told that it will be shipped to another location and besides the cost was overpriced. Mr Lin was so patient and meticulously checked the details to confirm if my piece of jewelry was made of true gold and how many carats they have and most importantly if it was worthy to still spend extra money to repair or not to fix it. I had Mr Lin resized a ring that I had not worn for more than 2 decades and two tennis bracelets with my daughters’ birthstones that I will be wearing on my oldest daughter’s wedding in May and I was super happy with the results and the price was so affordable. It was an awesome feeling to wear a ring that fits perfectly on my finger and bracelets that snugly fit on my wrist. The great bonus was that Mr Lin even cleaned up my other jewelry for FREE to make them sparkly and shiny. Meeting Mr Lin was one of the best days of my life and it feels comforting to know that there is a jewelry expert in Lincoln that I can consult with from hereon if I would have questions and someone that would give me a fair and honest assessment at a reasonable cost. If he tells you every ring you have needs prongs ...get a second opinion. I had a second opinion on both rings and told the prongs were fine but if If the second opinion agrees feel free to take it back and let him do it. But I also still stand by that he did not resize my ring the proper way. It was supposed to go up a size and it still fits like it did when I dropped it off except now there are fresh lines and indents on the side of the ring near the bottom. He made it monetarily right but am suspicious that there are no receipts or taxes charged on the 3 item I had him work on since I paid cash. Get written quotes and sizing. Get a receipt no matter how large a fix.

I needed a new charm bale for my gold necklace chain. I also had two pairs of diamond earrings that had never been cleaned. I took my charm (gold plated shark tooth), chain, and earrings to Lin Jewelers because they were close to me and I had been admiring their work over the past year on Facebook. Wilson was super friendly and helpful in walking my wife and I through the process of what he would have to do to make the charm bale work just right for the pieces I brought to him. He sent before and after pictures and videos of everything I left with him, as well as cleaned my earrings for free.
