Jose Avenue County Park — Attraction in Live Oak

A nice little neighborhood park. This park has a skate park and a couple of basketball hoops that are in nice shape. It is not a full court but the court surface, backboards and nets are all in good shape. And they are located in a nice place in the shade too.

There is a nice path around the whole park that we walk our dogs on, when we go here. There is also a large grass area where we are able to play fetch. Dog waste bags are provided and there are leash laws that are posted as well.

There is also a nice modern playground for small children and a sand volleyball court in the grassy area.

Park is really nice but the neighbors at the apartment complex next door are disrespectful and unwarranted. I was fixing my tire after a bike ride a little after dark and a group of the occupants from the apartments commensed to come over and very rudely asked why I was there and then told me they were calling the cops. Now I have no problem speaking with the police but what a waste of time to have a officer come out to the park to ask me to leave when I was going to on my own accord. I love taking my youngest grandson to this park. He loves to climb, and there are lots of things for him to climb on there. Also, it is walking distance ro get there from where he lives. There are 3 parks close to his home, and last 2 times he chose this park over the other two.
