The park is totally awesome, and there is rarely anyone there before 10:30 am. It is shared by everyone from kids to folks who use walkers. Most trails are 4' wide sidewalks, although there are a couple of natural trails. Currently, there is a pair of hawks just north of the playground - they are quite vocal! Speaking of the playground - there is one for the kids, and one for the adults - ours has exercise equipment. The kids' one has equipment for various ages, from 5-12. They recently did some work to the park - I think it was to thin out some of the brush for security reasons - so nobody could hide there. It looks a little messy, but I think once everything greens out it won't be noticeable. I have lived nearby for 5 years and never knew it was there - everyone goes to the lake park instead. Live Oak has done a really great job creating...

We love this park. It is clean, easy paths to walk with or without your pet. Be aware of the fact that there is wildlife so if you have a prey driven dog please be prepared, have a good grip on that lead. It is a complete shame that yet another development is being built just feet away from one of the paths. It takes away from that paths serenity. There is a nice playground and exercise equipment (check for availability due to Covid) restrooms and garbage cans very conveniently placed. Please pick up after your dogs, there is no reason not to! I noticed two new benches on my last trip. It was also heartwarming to see clear totes of water out and the...

This park is beautiful and was worth the 30 min drive. You can walk on the trails, which are named after local wildlife with cute pics on the trailheads which my kids loved or you can go off the path and take a mini hike! That's what we did and a pack of friendly deer approached us!!

There is also a park for children ages 2 and up with sufficient shade and benches, rock climbing walls for our 12 year olds and a mini one for our almost 2 year old. There are public bathrooms that weren't impressive but I wasn't...

It's great to have a small slice of greater nature, less suburban hardscape, nearby to take a walk or jog... Fairly flat btw. Took my dog walking here today and after recent rains the bog in the middle of the park (Reminds me of a mini-mysterious Great Dismal Swamp back in VA!) was full of water and frogs chortling away. There's a decent kid playscape and bathrooms - both closed now due to COVID-19. Best to check with Live Oak City Parks/Rec as to when it might be reopened.

This park is one of our favorites. We love the closeness to home, the size of the playground, and the walking trails with deer. The flooring and the slides are in bad shape and need replacement. The bottom of the slides collect water from rain in the cracks. So make sure your rear doesn't get wet. Kids thought my son had peed his pants when he hadn't. And the green astroturfing is torn up in places and it's a tripping hazard if you're not looking where you're going.

This park is great to walk. The trails are kept pretty clean. There are deer to see, lots of squirrels and lizards.... beautiful bird songs. The park area is far enough off the trail that you can exercise without disturbing the kiddos or without them disturbing you lol. It's overall great. I do wish they'd spray for mosquitoes on the smaller trail, but the big one is great! ♡♡
