During our visit to Livermore, we had the pleasure of stopping by 3 Steve’s Winery not once, but three times throughout the week. Each visit was better than the last, which is a true testament to the exceptional experience offered here.
Alex, Jason, and Robin were some of the funniest and kindest people we met on our trip. Their knowledge and passion for wine were evident, and they truly made us feel welcome. They are the epitome of excellent wine stewards, each bringing their unique charm and expertise to our tasting experiences.
After visiting 13 wineries in the area, 3 Steve’s stood out so much that we decided to join their wine club. One delightful surprise was their Sangria – it's an absolute hidden gem and truly to die for.
We highly recommend 3 Steve’s Winery to anyone visiting Livermore. Whether you're a seasoned wine connoisseur or just looking for a fun and friendly place to enjoy some great wine, you won't be disappointed. This place, along with Alex, Jason, and Robin, made our visit...
Read more$15 for sub par wine and very mediocre tasting experience. The best we could come with for the red flight was a wine that we commented "well at least that is not too bad". The Cabernet had a nose of spearmint, really? The tasting room staff really did not know much about the wines to answer questions and basically tried to rush you through the tasting. The tasting room is the worst one I have been in Livermore, not very attractive. Again if you are going to charge what Concannon charges for a tasting you better have a pretty nice tasting room and people that know something about the wine. The real topper for me was the fact that dogs are allowed in the tasting room. As I am tasting I smell a very weird smell and finally figure out it is the dog that people next to me have in the tasting room. There were 3-4 dogs in the tasting room as we were tasting. Wine tasting depends on smelling the wine, and I do not want a dirty dog smell while I am tasting wine. A very...
Read moreSo, we went to this winery on a visit to my sister who lives in San Leandro. It's about a 35 mins drive from San Leandro and sits pretty far out along with other wineries. Now, I live in the Antelope Valley and we have a few smaller wineries out here (high desert) and I have to say taste for taste, we prefer the AV wines more PLUS our wines are very affordable and delicious! I will continue to support our local community and wine growers. I did like the wines we tasted but unfortunately not enough to head out there again. What also made it a little strange was all the tables were outside (no problem) but with the cost of the wines one would think they could provide more tarps and covers rather than sit us at an open table in direct sun on a hot day while consuming wine. Not comfy. That would also keep me from going back. It would be a matter of adding a few umbrella...
