Update 04.23.24: Beautiful park, but needs to have structure or other sun shading as there's no reprieve from the sun on this playground. Black playground equipment gets extremely hot especially for kids in shorts!
Great neighborhood park, nicely maintained. Large grass field for sporting events - soccer game was in process when our family was there. Children's playground area pretty basic, not as large as other parks in the area. Street parking can be tight. We had a problem with a couple different people allowing their dogs to run off-leash, even when they saw us coming. We'll never understand why some think it's ok to break the city ordinance that all dogs must be on leash at all times unless it is a designated off leash area, which this is not. This made an otherwise nice afternoon very unpleasant as we had to turn and leave the area right away as other dogs approached ours, who has been bitten by a dog before. We didn't see any...
Read moreGreat playground for 5 and up (I have a 7, 4 and 1 year old), which I say because there is some stuff for tots (cute little playhouse, swings, small slide) but most of the playground equipment is that which one needs to balance and climb ropes (which is great for kids! It's like an agility course (I uploaded some pics), however, my 4 yr old got scared when she climbed up too high and had extreme difficulty getting back down. I have much gratitude for the mama who offered to help me by climbing up to help my 4yr old back down. I am very overweight and didn't want to risk testing out whether the ropes/structure support someone of my size. My 7yr old and other kiddos tried helping my 4yr old to no avail, so again very grateful to that mama for her awesome...
