Excellent spot for a hike and swim. Perfect for the family, including children. The swimming 🏊‍♂️ area under the bridge is all rock, easy to get to, and shallow enough to wade around, then gets deep. Whether you are looking for shallow water to hang out in or deep water, this spot has it all. With it being all rock, there is no mud, and the water is super clear. They have benches along with plenty of areas to set up chairs, blankets, or whatever you may need to chill for the day or just a couple of hours.

This is a very quiet, very rustic place. It's got a good view of the dam, and a cool little island you can walk to. The swinging bridge is a popular place to take young kids to. The bridge is fun for them and the swimming area beneath it is nice and shallow. It costs $5 dollars to get in with a vehicle and $1 a person to walk in. We buy the season pass from the corps and it ends up being cheaper.

This place was such a cool find! We saw so many different animals (deer, owls, rabbits, beaver, turtles, etc...) my kids swam until the sun went down. The trails have little caves and awesome rock formations. 100% recommend stopping here.

Had a great day riding through the country side to this relaxing place. Be sure to follow the road as it does turn to the right at the top of the hill where you can see the water. First time we passed the turn and drove down the very very steep hill to the bottom. We were actually on a Harley Davidson. Going back is really as beautiful as going there. We will be back but this time with my truck and...
