This boardwalk has been in existence for some years now, and with the current economic situation of the City of Loiza , you can see that it is lacking proper maintenance. Love to walk along the shore without getting feet sandy? The boardwalk is perfect. The entire length is about 7 miles, but no one said you have to walk it all in one day. We took a two-three mile walk and enjoyed every step. Restaurants and bars along the way. Views are beautiful. You can ride a bike the length of boardwalk. It twists thru the mangroves once you cross to the other side. Excellent, safe place to walk. Highly recommend. Afternoon walks are the best....
