The older woman with dark hair and glasses working at the wine tasting counter was very rude to us. We were trying to figure out our shuttle pick up location. When we returned to the visitor center from the hotel staff who sent us back to her for clarification she turned to customers she was waiting on and said “Oh, they’re back” in a very snotty way even though our communication towards her had been very friendly and upbeat. She told us she couldn’t help us and we should wait outside (in the cold) even though the visitor center was empty. Then, a man in a blue vest jacket came out from the back area and said our shuttle would pick us up in front of the center and we could wait inside where it was warm. The older lady changed her demeanor at that point and echoed what he said. So rude and poor representation of the Lodi wine community. This experience was a birthday celebration and our first time visiting Lodi to spend money. Poor behavior from one human being to another. Thanks for that. Here’s a tip: treat people with dignity and respect! Stop making baseless judgements on the way people look or dress because they don’t match your...

Mar of 2023: We had a group of people join us for a first timers birthday wine tasting event (approximately about 9-10). We called ahead of time to schedule. Granted a large group can be a little louder drinking and such so I get it. But I don't understand if you are sensitive to large groups, maybe explain they have a limit ahead of time.

The older lady with short dark/gray hair and glasses went to the birthday girl, not the member or any of the older people there, but the youngest of the group and scolded extremely rudely "Can you keep it down I can't hear myself think!" I didn't find this out till we had moved on to the next stop. The younger lady helping us was friendly, courteous, and received quite a bit of sales. This place used to be able to accommodate larger groups pre-covid. Its possible they just aren't able to anymore with the same customer service.

Update in December 2024: thought I would give it another chance but same lady, same experience. Refer to this place as a library. Be quiet, sip your wine and leave. *Sigh

They have a great library of wine, but they want you to...

The staff there were friendly. After the wine tasting, we bought 2 bottles of wine, that were very well packed for us. When I just arrived home and opened the package, I found the expensive wine club exclusive Heavy Hitter Petite Sirah was not sealed. I talked to the manager the next day and he explained some wineries simply send in their wines to the visitor center with the bottles not sealed. This exposes a safety concern to us, because the content of the bottle could be easily changed. It was said there were some environmental concerns with the foil sealing. If so, there should be some sort of replacement like wax sealing. Wine sold with the bottles not even sealed in any way is...

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! This was a beautiful discovery 😍 of fine wines. Home grown here in Lodi. Friendly atmosphere, with charming gathering places, in various corners of their courtyard. There was even a Vineyard that you could walk through to educate oneself on. Well layed out, be sure to add it to your bucket list of things to do whenever you're in this neck of California. Follow me and catch up on all my sites and places to just sto into. Check out "Beautiful Places in Hawaii"...enjoy! Ciao for now.

Visited for the pick up party which was well attended this year. Good food catered by Wine and Roses restaurant/hotel next door and a good selection of wine tastings from N2, Michael Klouda etc. We enjoy the wine club here because we get 4 reds from different member wineries each quarter. Recommend visiting and tasting.
