Micke Grove Park is a massive, shady oasis with a fantastic playground, ample open space, picnic spots, and a giant splash pad. The kids had a blast running around and playing together since there was so much shade. There are a few cool attractions to stroll to, like a Japanese tea garden, a small zoo, and a rose garden. The entry fee was around $6, so it’s super affordable, and there was plenty of parking when we went on a busy weekend. I highly recommend checking out this park for a day if you’re looking for something unique and fun for the kids.

Has multiple play areas, the one by the splash pad has oak trees over it which gives great shade in the summer. Also has a bathroom next to it (if you have kids you know this is a plus). Pleasant and quiet when we came, so it was enjoyable. There were cute ducks and a fountain that helped keep the area cool with a breeze. Fee isn't too bad, $5 when we came.

Large park, nice for picnic and gatherings. Only downside is that you aren't allowed to use the covered areas(that can be rented), even if the area is NOT reserved. We tried using a covered sheltered area(that had no reserved sign) and was told to move elsewhere. They came back and put up a "reserved sign." We stayed at the park til the evening and NO ONE showed up! So we figured they did it on purpose!

10 vehicles, paying $6.00 each should allow us to use unreserved covered areas. It was...
