Micke Grove Park is a massive, shady oasis with a fantastic playground, ample open space, picnic spots, and a giant splash pad. The kids had a blast running around and playing together since there was so much shade. There are a few cool attractions to stroll to, like a Japanese tea garden, a small zoo, and a rose garden. The entry fee was around $6, so it’s super affordable, and there was plenty of parking when we went on a busy weekend. Read moreLarge park, nice for picnic and gatherings. Only downside is that you aren't allowed to use the covered areas(that can be rented), even if the area is NOT reserved. We tried using a covered sheltered area(that had no reserved sign) and was told to move elsewhere. They came back and put up a "reserved sign." We stayed at the park til the evening and NO ONE showed up! So we figured they did it on purpose!
