We went with a group of 6 in May 2017, to the speakeasy room. Our group has had some experience with escape rooms before, myself close to 10 now. First arrival, the sign was easy to spot and plenty of parking was available in the back. The waiting room was simple, but not much time is spent there before getting sent into the room. The staff consisted of a husband and wife whom are the owners (pretty sure that's accurate). First she provided us with general tips, which is rare from my experience, but is very helpful, especially to new groups. She provided us with the backstory for the room and sent us in. As for the room itself, the speakeasy theme was well done and consistent. A lot of effort was put into the room, not just keys and locks, but clever puzzles that keep things from getting repetitive. We had a great time working our way through it all and succeeded in getting out with a bit of time to spare. We spoke with them a little afterwards and found that they are currently working on a 2nd room titled Swamp, so we will definitely return to try that room once it is completed. Overall a very good experience and one of the best escape rooms I've done.
TL;DR Staff: Friendly, invested you having a good time. Venue: Easy to find, good parking, and room theme was well done; 2nd room is under construction and you can tell, but it doesn't diminish the experience. Room: Did Speakeasy with 6 players. Inventive puzzles that are varied, no cheap tricks. Cost: Had a deal through Yelp, but pricing is pretty standard.. After experiencing it, definitely good value. Overall:...
Read moreHaven’t been back here for a couple years after doing carnival, the swamp, and speakeasy (highly recommend all of them, btw) but came back this afternoon for the release of their brand new Pirate room.
In total I’ve probably done 50 rooms in the past few years, and I went with my parents who have done 10-15.
Being completely honest when I say that this new Pirate room ranks in my Top 3 rooms I’ve ever done when it comes to puzzle creativity and use of clues, game ideology, and most importantly the ambiance and general set up of the room. This room oozes immersion, interactivity to exponential degrees, and new surprises around every corner.
As the first players of this room, we had the pleasure of having both Kenny and Tina as our game masters, who of course were immensely helpful and generous with clues for this insane new room premise. If the game itself doesn’t sell you, you need to go just to hear Kenny give the intro to the room. You won’t be disappointed!
If you’re in between what room to do, don’t give it another thought - you NEED to do this new pirate room. Thank me later.
Thanks again, Tina and Kenny!...
Read moreOur group of 5 recently visited Escape The Puzzle for a Friday night out. The owners, Tina and Gabe, met and directed us personally throughout the evening. We started out our night by going to the wrong place, but Tina and Gabe were very understanding and accommodating. When we finally made our way over (30 minutes late), they took time to explain everything to us, and give us a few tips since it was our first escape room ever. They could have rushed us or cancelled our reservation, but instead they were super helpful and understanding! Without giving anything away, the escape room itself was amazing! The puzzles and clues were multi layered, and really took quite a bit of thought to get through. Tina has handmade many of the puzzles herself, and her pride in her work shows. After we finished the room, Tina and Gabe stayed late to talk to us about our experience, and to also go over a couple of the puzzles they have out in the lobby with us. Definitely recommend checking this place out, but don't just go through the puzzles, take some time to talk to Tina and Gabe. We can't wait for them to open their...
