I usually take my 15 month daughter on week days when it's a little less busy, but we went on a Saturday, it was busy but still very nice. My daughter loves that she can toodle around through the water sprays and it wears her out (thankfully). I love that it's free fun during the summer and a nice way to get out of the heat and I don't have to get very wet.

Free! Does not cost admission. We took our niece and nephew here - they loved it. Our only con - there were so many other unsupervised children - we often found kids knocking each other down from running through the fountains. Other than that, this was a great place to cool off on a hot summer day in Texas!

A beautiful day to hang out at Lear Park Athletic Complex! So thankful for the foresight of civic leaders and community volunteers in creating an excellent natural facility for future generations to enjoy. I didn’t just visit a park—I stumbled into a full-blown playground paradise. Our once-familiar neighborhood spot has undergone a game-changing upgrade, and let me tell you: it’s nothing short of spectacular.

From the moment I arrived, it was clear—this isn’t just “new equipment.” This is a full-blown experience. The slides are smoother, taller, and faster than ever (yes, I tested them thoroughly). The climbing structures are like something out of a kid’s dream meets an outdoor ninja training course, and every detail, from the soft landing turf to the thoughtful shaded areas, screams quality.

The joy was contagious. Kids were everywhere, laughing, exploring, conquering new challenges like tiny adventurers in a wonderland of ropes, tunnels, and swings that actually make you feel like you're flying. Even the adults couldn’t help but smile—we’re talking community bonding, spontaneous conversations, and a collective sense of, “Wow, this is ours?”

Whether you're a parent, a fitness junkie, or just someone who appreciates when a space is built with love, this park is a gift. Hats off to whoever made it happen—this is more than a playground. It’s a beacon of fun, connection, and pure...

We had a good time here. My daughter is 5, and thuroughly enjoyed all of the space that had an assortment of water fountains, jets, and the 2 small slides. Some parents allow their children to run amock and don't even look up from their phones to see where their child is, but I've found this more and more common. Regardless, it wasn't overly crowded, and most of the kids were very well behaved. It's gated so that kids can't run into the parking lot or road, and has 3 pavilions with tables that are available. It was clean, and wonderful fun for the...

Great place to take the kids in the summer to cool off and run around. If you have younger small children just make sure to stay with them or keep a good eye on them because the older kids can be rough when playing. As an adult I also have fun running around with my nephew! It’s fun for the whole family and great if you want to go get a tan. Make sure to pack some snacks and drinks! We had a birthday party here last summer and it was cheap, fun, and a great experience overall, we look forward to having it again this...
